Only one shareholder is required who must be above 18 years old and can be resident of any country.
Only one director is compulsory, the director and shareholder can be the same person.
There is no required minimum paid-in capital required. The usual authorized capital s HKD 10,000,00 composed of 10000 ordinary shares of HKD 1.00 par value. The minimum paid in capital is HKD 1.00.
Every company must have a company secretary and registered address in Hon Kong. The company secretary may be a corporation.
The company name may be English or in Chinese.

Filing of annual account with the Inland Revenue Department is mandatory unless the company has an exemption.
